Construction Progress Photography and Video for Sail Construction
Sail Construction commissioned us to document a construction project at a school in Gloucester, carrying out seven visits over a 20-week period to capture the development from start to finish. The aim was to create a visual record of the build, providing regular progress updates for internal use as well as a finished film showcasing the completed project.
Following each visit, we edited a short progress update video, allowing Sail Construction to keep track of developments throughout the construction period. The original brief focused solely on drone footage, but we felt the project would benefit from a more varied approach. We therefore introduced additional ground-level and internal filming to complement the aerial footage, capturing more of the detail, activity and scale of the work taking place.
Alongside the individual progress updates, we produced a longer film bringing together footage from all seven visits to tell the story of the project as it developed. The combination of aerial, external and internal footage created a much more engaging overview, providing Sail Construction with a valuable record of the construction process and a finished video to showcase the project to a wider audience.
